Services
Sam Blanco has been working with kids with autism and other developmental disabilities since 2002. The goal of all services is to bring together practical, clear solutions that can be implemented immediately, whether you're a parent who wants to improve daily quality of life or a practitioner who is seeking to bring more joy and reinforcement for the children you serve daily.

Parent Collaboration
Working with parents has always been the highlight of my role as a BCBA. In this model of parent collaboration, we meet three times per week: once in person and twice virtually. We select specific targets around one key goal, and you practice implementing the intervention in your day-to-day life. This allows for consistent coaching and implementation, with real time feedback and adjustments as necessary. Rates are on a sliding scale to meet your financial needs as well.
Professional Development
With a long history of providing professional development and CEU opportunities for practitioners, my areas of expertise include: practical data collection in your environment, evidence-based practice in parent/family collaboration, building manding and tacting repertoires in young learners, and designing appropriate and meaningful goals for children. Sam is available to speak to your group in person or host virtual, synchronous sessions.
Functional Assessment
Functional Assessment is a key component of designing and implementing a strong intervention. The functional assessment process includes informational interviews, direct observation, and structured assessment to determine the root cause of the target behavior. The results of the functional assessment will include a clear explanation of the behavior, selected and clearly defined new behaviors to teach, and coaching as necessary.
